Yes, this is Balak. I think I can a really write a long article about this guy. But I want to make it short here.
Ok, start with me being assign to sit beside him, at that time i still call him 'Chen Wei Lik', but correct spelling is 'Chan Wai Lak', I guess. But both of us been silence for few hours. Cause I am a transfer student. From TTSS Kota Kinabalu to SMC Lahad Datu. So everything and everyone is stranger to me. While I am still day dreaming, this guy show me a Dunhill in his pencil box, and whisper:"It's my brother's, let's go toilet...". Then I say:"Sure...".
It was then we become some sort of friend.
Most of the time after school we will fork out some money to buy cigarette. We tried Marlboro, Marlboro Light, Marlboro Menthol Light, Dunhill, Dunhill Light, Kent Panjang, Pall Mall, Salem, Salem Light, Peter Styleverson,555, Lucky Strike, Gudang Garam, White Horse...... and other. Sometimes if we are short of money, buy will buy those 'batang-batang' ones.
Location of our smoking sessions: Anywhere parents and teachers can't see !. We started from school toilet, then after a while we realise that we need some hide-out for after school sessions. Then we discovered this bridge! It's located somewhere near one of our friend's house(Ah Bill, will bout him later). It's above Tabanak river, and below it was a small river bank just enough for a few people to hang-out. So we hang-out there for a few months, before we start to hang out in Ah bill's house.
Eeemm... Then we start to play basketball. I played basketball since I am 12~13, so I ask Balak to join me, since we don't have much to do in the afternoon, other than smoking.But we can't smoke all day, right? And that's it. Start to play basket. He is no good at all in basketball. HAHAHA, he can jump! He can hang himself over the rim like nothing ! OMG ! I can hardly touch the rim that time ! But anyway, he still suck playing basketball. And for some reasons we end up playing for the school team together. So after that go thru alot of competitions, play basketball every afternoon.
Then I start to teach this guy here and Ah bill to play guitar. And we all love Beyond ! I think we should be able to finish all Beyond's songs. Normally me and Ah Bill will play guitar and Balak sings....No choice, he has the best voice among us. We actually have a live band performance for our graduation ceremony.
Ok, I think i will stop here for Part 1. Wii continue some other day for Part 2.
PS:Balak called me last night to chit chat abit. So that makes me kind of want to write something bout this guy and the days we had. He will be visiting KL again somewhere end of this year. He visit me and others middle this year also. Pictures available :::: Here::::
Read this article in some websites today, I think it's kind of stupid. I mean... Yah, really stupid.
In this artice, the authors points out that there are some features or 'ability' that the Mac OS X should follow. Also some samples how how 'he himself' being so uncomfortable using a system which is 'SO' diefferent with the Windows OS he is using, which i think that makes him 'SOOOOOOOOOO MUCH MORE' productive untill he got time to waste, by doing some stupid researches about the differences between Mac and Windows, whcich the result we all knew,or don't even want to know. Also telling readers how unadaptive he is, for not being able to get used to the system after using it for so long (i presume, cause i guess new computer users would not be able to write anything this 'PRO'.
Well here are things he pointed out:
1) Compatible control keys. Switching between Mac and Windows this drives me nuts. I have to consciously think “command-C or control-C?” It shouldn’t have to be that way. And if you’re running RDC or VPC and copying and pasting between OS X and Windows!! Sheesh!
To Me: The only problem I see here is, why the hell you want to swith between 2 OS ??? If you really does, that's your own problem, not the rest of the Mac users around the world. You don't expect the 3% of computer users change thier way of living because you are not good in operating 2 Operating System at the same time right? As, I dont think Nokia will change thier keypad layout because of some idiots are not used to it after using 'China Branded Handphone' for so long...
2) Save button on toolbars. I don’t think any of the Apple software ever gives you the option to include a Save button. Print button yes, Save button no. A little test - raise your hand if you save your work more often than you print it? Ah, so I’m not alone. Good. You can put your hands down. Thank you.
To Me: According to point No.1, the author seems to be 'really good in using keyboard shortcuts'. And why the hell you want to use the stupid mouse the click on the stupid "SAVE" button while you are half typing with both your hands on the keyboard??? As I know, I have been using the Windows for some while before I got my first iBook. I found out that i use more shortcut keys in a Mac !!! And I've been using a Mac for less than 2 years, 5 time less than the time for using a Windows.
3) A multi button mouse. And you thought I’d say two. Why stop at two? Especially with things like Exposé, Dashboard and Spotlight. They’re just crying out for single click activation from a mouse. Ok. So this isn’t a Windows feature per sé, but still is needed.
To Me:Ok fine! Now Apple made a mouse with "4 buttons" and a "360 degree scroll" with it, happy?! But you know guys ?I use "2 button mouse" only when I use Photoshop. The rest of the time, the track pad and "1 button" was enough. As back to Point No.1 , I thought you are that good with the shortcut keys??? What the .... !!!
4) Only show relevant file types in open and save dialogs. For those who like seeing every file that’s every existed in their Documents folder, give them a checkbox to show all files. But personally, if I am opening a Pages file, I don’t want to see all my iMovie, Excel, iDVD etc files. And OS X already knows which are which because non-related ones are greyed out.
To Me: You are somehow good i have to admit it Mr Author! I don't even have time to look at those 'irrelevent files' while I am working on my PowerBook. WoW !!! Surprised me !!! Solute !!!
PS:refer back to Point No.1, i thought you are that good with keyboard shortcuts. 'Command+S' in Mac and 'Ctrl+S' in Windows, REMEMBER???.. hahahahha
5) More context sensitive help. I notice since I first raised this two years ago, more of it has crept into OS X. So I guess at least I can’t be flamed for this one!
To Me: I never find that those "Help Menus" have ever been usefull.

Now why is it that I can list all the features I want Leopard to have and as long as none of them are from Windows, its cool? But dare suggest OS X needs a feature already in Windows and the world comes down on you. We can admit that OS X is not perfect, but not that Windows is better in some ways.
But Apple have admitted it in the past. Here’s just a couple of things I’ve seen Windows do that Apple has added:
- Command-tab switching
- Existing files selectable in Save dialog
To Me: I thing the 'Command+Tab' make more sense. In the Mac, this combination keys will switching you around among Applications, while the Windows will switchi you around among all the 'Windows' you are running. Imagine is you have 15 IE windows running, Itunes, 1 or 2 documents, 2 or 3 windows for file management, 1 for Outlook, and ....... OMG !!!!! ENOUGH !!!!!!!
To Me: The point is, if you are driving a Toyota and complains that it's too slow for you, and you bought yourself a Ferrari but complains that you cant go in Time Square..... whose fault is that??? Fine, if you insist, go build yourself one that as fast as Ferarri and as 'affordable' as a Honda !!!
PS: You can change the keyboard that comes with any Mac to a "Windows USB KEyboard" !!! DOOFUS !!!
Yo people ! The long been waiting MSN 5.0 for Mac is finally here ! New features including multi tabs, new interfaces, and now it spports PICTURES !!! ...... which AudiumX already have long ago.Come on ! Micro ! Try to spend a little more money on Messenger for Mac will you? Dun let 'someother-third-party-micro-company' like Adium did all that you guys anounce as 'New Features'.... man, multi-millions trillion zillion software company.....Diao....有無攪錯啊?!

HHmm... Suddently feels something after i read what Ah Pang commented on my blogs. Alot of things just starts to pop up in my mind after i start to write blogs, now i am trying to remember those and put it all down here slowly.
Sometimes it's so hard to be a gemini. Even myself have no idea what the hell is in my mind. Says that there is 2 personality within AhTak. Can be really stupid and noisy (which is all the time), and being so 'cool' and close myself up(happenes more frequent now adays'. Now i can understand how hard to be to have a boy frined like me, who don't even know what he wants and can change his mind faster that anybody else in the world. I might want to have Mocha Frap when i step in Starbucks and actually come out from Starbucks with a Latte. See.... I realize those are the reason my ex want to break-up with me, she cant catch up with my speed to changing my mind. You know it's bad when AhTak start his temper, really annoying.
Try to keep those friends who can spend a night with you in mamak. Those friends might be the ones that know what the hell are you thinking, drag you out from trouble when you need help.It's really hard to list down the good friends you have. Yeah, you may have alot of friends to go mamak, bt how many you can talk to ? Think about it and start making calls, brothers !

Attended some 'direct sales' today... Man, really dislike it.

Well, there might be alot of people are doing this and make alot of money, but i guess I am not that kind of 'Lucky Guy' as they are., who can make 'RM30000' in a month, driving a Subaru Sti at the age of 23, or what so ever lah.

Dinner At Lei's house tonight, but is total failure !
Lei : Getting the ingrediants and doing some helpings over the kitchens.
Tak : Have the Lamb being marinate, frying the beef, and Japanese Toufu with souce.

Really failure from the beginnig till the end i tell you!
The beef we bought from Giant. Bad. This piece of meat might be good, but definitely not for what we are cooking tonight.
We are cooking 'streak'.... we agree to have all 'western' tonight'. So we come out with 'beef-piece-of-meat', 'lamb-oiece-of-meat'. and also Campell Soup. Additional With japanese toufu of mine, which we cant finish last week.

He wanted to cook us 'Dry Curry Lamb' at first, but maybe he cant get the recipe from his dad and caceled it. HAHA, who knows ?!?
Marinating the beef with some soya souce, little bit of rice wine, some powder, and little bit of garlic. Simpe yet is the best way to have meat being marinated....i think

My "Japanese Toufu with hell a lot Souce". Kind of easy to do actually.
Steps:
1. Take out the Japanes Taufu from the freige.
2. Slice it nice nice and display on the plate.
3. Leave the toufu alone and go make the souce.
4. Heat up the pan with some little bit of oil.
5. Put in hell alot 'Little Onion' and some little bit of sliced garlic.
6. Wait till you see some golden garlic!
7. Put in the mixture of water, oyster souce, some powder, some little of soya sauce.
8. Wait to boil.
9. Stir abit.
!0. Put the souce ontop of the toufu.
11. Done !

My sister just move to KL recently, for almost 1 month after she sign in for the accomodation provided from UM. Yah, University Malaya. This is one thing we are totally differnt in. She realyl study alot. I think she starts to get FULL 'A' since PMR or something lah. really amazed me, where I can't even pass my math's paper til today from hi-school.
Actually we are not close at all. I mean we don't often talk to each other much, and that is before I moved out to stay alone for my study in KK where my parents and my little sister stay in Tawau, Sabah. Most of the topics we had was argue, disagree, sometimes even fight with her. There is 1 thing I feel really sorry. I once snap a fork to her head!, YES I DID ! my god ! Cant believe myself man. How would I ...... Sorry Yan, you know your brother is kind of a hot temper person and you are reallly annoying , but i still shouldn't have snap that fork to you head. Thou it end up my mom throw the whole plate of fried fish with HOT oil in my face ! hahahaha.By the way, she is 5 years younger than me. We never have any 'heart to heart' things.Yah, I does bullied her alot. What a shame.
All that is before I moved to KK, sabah.
When I was alone in KK, I started to realized that I missed my family. Counldn't ask for more. Responsible father (and can be really funny, serious), care and loving mom (sometimes she can ''blah blah blah' me non-stop for hours believe it!),cute little sister ( who is so proud that she don't really want to talk to his 'smoking' brohter). Hell alot of funny stuffs that can come out from these Wongs I tell you!
Yah, back to my sis. After she came to KL, i start to CALL HER ! hahahah, sounds funny ler~ AhTak call his sister ?! NO Way !

I know that she is going thru the hardest part of her life for now. She never leave home, as in... out of home staying alone for more that a week. And now she has to stay alone in the campus, where no friends that she knows, no place that she is familiar with, have to take care of herself, and mom is not at her side that she can talk to, dad is not around to make fun of her. For me, I've been used to this, 5 years living out from 'home'. She is a really dependent girl as i know. So, i know that she is really haveing a hard time over here.
For the first week in campus, she almost cried everynite. Some she called my mom, some she called me, and try not talk to my dad,maybe she think my dad is very strick. Yes, Dad, you are very strick.HEHEHE.It really shock me when I heard her cried over the phone,telling me that everyone looks so unfriendly to her, the campus look so scary, and I believe this is the first time in her life that she know what is 'Lonely'. So i tried to calm her down by telling my stories to her, make some stupid jokes and at the end I feel like crying too.My little sis. HAHA. Almost everyone have to go thru this, its a MUST for everyone to live alone someday and for some reason, it's a really good chance for you to learn now, at least UM is alot alot alot alot better that Informatics KK (collage i was is last time).

This topic has been really hot among us Mac users, and windows users who are have been "admire" the 'Apple' machines for long.In the previous keynote Steve Job has in WWDC, he stated that Apple Machinese will start using Intel Processors Chips. Yeah !!! but ot yet, Steve also says that currently Intel users are not able to install Mac OS into normal Intel chips. Cause the Intel chips that's in the Apple machines are custom build from Intel for Apple. So sorry lah, no Mac OS on clones machines.
Also, No Windows XP on Apple machines too.
Becasue Apple somehow are making some chips in either the mother board or the processors which it's purpose is to recognize digital signature of the Mac OS.Alot of people are complaining to Apple that, why Apple want to restrict the installation of Mac OS only on Apple machines, hence Windows users will not be able to 'RUN' Mac OS X their 'PowerFull Clone Machine' ..... Duh ....
Well, these doesnt bother me much, since i have got myself a Powerbook 12" before the Intel-Based Powerbook. For me it's the ego stuff. I feels wierd if i see the 'Intel Inside' logo on my PowerBook, looks wierd lah. Like seeing a BMW with a sticker 'Toyota Engine Powered'. It's not to say that there is anthing wrong with the Intel processors, just that, not the right place.
That's All.
I buy Apple machines is not only for the Mac OS, not only for the 'WoW Looking' outlook of my Powerbook, it's both. 
The built of my PowerBook, the details are in every part of it. The keyboard which is so solid and perfect touch, no funny buttons around the layout (i really doesnt understand the shortcut buttons like 'Internet' 'Web',IBM is a perfect sample), no card readers (??? wasn't it easier to connect DigiCam using the USB cable???), no CD player to play CD??? How dificult izzit anyway to open up the lid of your laptop? Now with new track pad somemore,
Really nice feature that the engineering have been work out. Yes, Windows Laptop users might have this feature long ago before we have it on Apple laptops.But, it's ugly... have to scoll be putting your fingers and the side or the bottom part of the trackpad, eeww.... The Apple ones is basically putting 2 fingers on the trackpad to activate the function. Try ptting 2 fingers on a Windows Laptop~.
Well, so far i havent seen anyting that looks any better than my Powerbook Yet, also the the Mac OS. Try to do a search in Google and you will see how many people are trying to imitate the Mac OS by installing some softwares to simulate the dock and the look and feel of the Mac OS. Forget about, it will just make your Windows slower and ...... hang ???? hahahahaha.
Before this I am also use PC, or Windows. That's untill Windows 2000. Which still hangs.
Ok, to me. Hangs ( I mean alot of hangs, almost at least 5 ~ 8 times per week), and Virus ( you know what i mean ) on WIndows have really drive me crazy. So I decided to get a Mac. And now, the PowerBook that i am using to type this blog is the third one ! hehehehe.
This article can be really long if I don't stop here.
The point is, if you have enough 'reason' to get a PC, you have at least 2 more reasons on top of that.'Hang' (or blue screen) and Virus. So far I havent got a chance to 'experince' both of that on my Mac yet.

The philosophy i came out with Lei someday last week. It's the ways we live our life, sounds good to me thou since not much money to spend with this few months. Feel very 'sui' .... dunno why lah, and Ah Lei keep on complaining his boring life... And we keep on mamak untill 4AM....

Then there was this friday, my off day. We have a small little gathering and cooking session at Lei's house. Cool... I will be the cook, Lei and Jel will do the rest like, chopping garlic, onion, ginger, potatoes, rice ........ and a dish'DunnoWhatName LongLong Bean' goreng garlic.
Get started with all the ingrediant here, Lei will do allllllll the chopping for me, and he is good at that. Hmmm, the I had the chicken and beef done. Some tips here, try to slice the beef as thin as you can, or else the meat will need more time to be cook and it will end up very 'old' (very hard to chew and no juice in the meat).
Lei is frying the potatoes, for the curry chicken. Normally i will deep fried the potatoes. Due to the limited resources, Lei come out an idea..... fry it lah ! And i let him do his work.It actually turn out great, but Sen Hua says that the potatoes were a bit too soft....who cares.. hahahah
Done.....curry chicken AhTak style.Simple lah this, garlic onion fry with chicken then santan plus alot of curry powder done.
Oyester sauce chicken, Ahtak style, this is the favorite dish of the night. We all think this one have the most 'home feel'... hhm... it somehow reminds me of my mom. I think this a copycat from one of her dish, but there is some potatoes i think .... hhmm....
hehehehehe....... THE BEEF !!! The thickness was just right, not too thick, so that it does not need to much time to be cook, hence the juice can be kept in the meat. And the taste was ngam ngam good ~ Also the ginger, make sure you chop them as fine as possible, Lei says that will taste alot better....hmmmmm And it does !
