Where is my Cigarette?

Months ago, I left a box of Cigarette at the Kopitiam opposite my office where I usually go for Coffee and Smoke. Didn't bothered to go back that time coz I remember only about 4~5 sticks left in the box. The next morning, as usual when I visit the, the girl at the counter pass me RM0.50 change along with the box of cigarette I left there the day before. I took the cigarette and left the RM0.50 for tips.

Today, as usual I had coffee and smoke break at the Kopitiam, then I left the box of cigarette again. But this time I made a U-Turn coz the box of cigarette is BrandNew, well 1 stick I had along with the coffee. When I return to the shop, I saw a guy look at me while having his hand in is pocket with a cigarette box - look - alike object . So I thought:" Damm, got to get another box .... " . But what surprised me is that the Girl at the counter screw that guy and ask him to return the box of cigarette to me. Unwillingly the guy took out the box of cigarette from the right pocket of his apron, and another 2 sticks from his mate standing beside him. I took the box, left the '2 sticks' for them, and will never go back to the shop again.

What about Win on Mac ?

"Eh, Tak. I want to get a Macbook but I will install a Windows XP on it, will it be as good as Macbook with Mac OS X ah ? "

The answer will be NO, definite NO !

"But why ah ? I thought you all say Mac is good, no virus, no hang and more stable than a Windows ?"

Yes and No to the above ...

1. A Windows 2000,XP, XP SP1/2/3, VIsta, it's still a Windows, regardless what machine it's running on. Say for example. A WIndows XP running on Dell, Sony, Acer, IBM, bla bla ... It's still running having a Windows Operating System inside. So no difference running a Windows XP on a Mac machine or Dell machine. And I highly recommend you go and buy a Dell or what ever brand you like if you want to use Windows, dun go and pandai pandai buy a Macbook coz you like the look of it, then install a Windows XP and come ask me problem regarding Windows problem. That even a Apple Store dun have warranty, why ? Coz Windows is not part of Apple product. get it ?

2. Most of the Virus in the world now is Aimed to attach Windows Machine, coz it's security is the easiest to Hack/Implant Virus into it. Yes, there are Virus for Mac too,but compare the 'availability' and the 'harm' between Mac and Windows, it's really nothing for a Mac. You noticed there are many Mac users out there not using a Anti-Virus software, even if you do, that's to protect the Windows user's ass ... read more here

I still get Blue Screen running WinXP over VMWARE ....

3. If you have a Mac-Windows machine, you will be in deep shit if you are having problem with you machine. If you send to Apple Store with staff like me ( most of them are, who hate Windows, alot ), they won't even layan you with a very Valid Reason, " The machine is Running on a Windows OS, which is not under the Warranty and we are not trained to serviced such machine " or if you have friends who are good in Windows, they might just say ( if they malas want to do ) : " Wah, Mac machine wow, I dunno how to use lah, send back to Apple Store to fix lah ~~~ " . You get what I mean ?

4. AhTak will no longer entertain, help, consult, give discount to anyone who wants to get a Mac, coz I am no longer working in a Apple Store, so, why should I ? Unless ofcoz I am in a good mood to help out good friends. OFF TOPIC a little: I just got a MSN message few days ago saying :" Tak, can I get discount buying a Mac from you ah ? I want cheap cheap Mac lah ~~~ "guess what I replied :" Wah lao eh, you ah. Got thing want ask for help only will look for me one lah, I leaf the company 2 years ago loh ~~~ ".... and that 'friend' of mine disconnected and havent see him till now.

5. Reason for dun want to recommend friends/family/relatives/fellow photographers to get a Mac coz I dun want to take the responsibility to 'take care' of those people. Coz they will buy the Mac from any of the Apple Store out there, then ofcoz the money goes to the shop which they bought the machine from. And then comes to me when they are having trouble with the Machine, for some reason I dunno why, they just dun want to go back to the shop or make a call back to the shop to ask for assistant. Why should I waste time for things I that I wont/will never get anything from ? Why not I take more picture and edit more pictures nicely so I get more Wedding jobs ?

For people who wants to get a New computer, don't even bother asking your friends around for opinion. Coz they will ask you get a Dell for the price, Sony for the Look, Mac for Style, Acer for more free gifts, or maybe HP or Compaq coz they are using. And if you are interested of getting a Mac, then just go to any of the Apple Shop around town to ask for a Demo on how to use a Mac, what's the different, how MSN/Office/Internet works in a Mac, ask the Shop Assistance all the questions you have on your mind. They are paid for doing that, not the friends around you. Okay !?

The Wedding was documented with the latest toy. Nikkor 70-200 f2.8 VR. Surprisingly I have the VR ( Vibration Reduction ) off at most time, maybe I dun like the noisy lens shift which function is to counter handshake, but anyway ... The range is just fine for me to work with, long range tele for places/situation I can't go near, some bokeh effects, low light condition, even still life/wedding details shoot. Totally amazed by the image quality, sharpness and the contrast by the lens. No joke, will not be buying any third party lens, after using the second Nikkor f2.8 zoom lens, worth every $$$ spend on it ...

05.12.08 - Friday
. Andrew's Wedding Day shoot - 6AM~ 4PM.
. Japanese Food Menu shoot - 4:45PM~5:30PM.
. Kenny's company dinner shoot - 630PM~11PM.
. Get packed for next day journey to Singapore.

06.12.08 - Saturday
. Bus took off at 10AM, take rest and filtering shoots on the bus, and sleep awhile.
. Reach Singapore at 4:15PM, buy a PrePaid SingTel, call everyone .
. Meet uncle for dinner till 8PM
. Meet Eric with Chris and Sandy for final briefing on Eric's wedding program.

07.12.08 - Sunday - Eric's Big Day
. Reach Hotel and start shooting ... - 6AM ~ 2:30PM.
. Short Break in Starbucks, prepare slideshow. - till 5PM.
. Get my clips transfer to a Windows XP Laptop - Almost forever, yes, I still have Windows.
. Cocktail till Dinner ends, then supper and a few cans with Eric till Midnight.
. Reach my Uncle's place around 1:30AM, fast fast sleep liao loh ... Tired almost dying ...

08.12.08 - Monday
. Woke up 7AM, get myself to CleMenTi to meet SeeFei.
. Breakfast with SeeFei and he kindly send me to Vivo City. - 8AM ~930AM
. 10AM. On the Bus, filter and edit pictures for Andrews wedding dinner, right after I reached KL.
. 4PM. Reached 1U and spend RM9 for Taxi, just less than 10mins ride.
. 630PM. Reached Federal Hotel and start shooting till 11PM.

I really Wish Santa Claus can give me a big present for Xmas ... I have been working hard ler, and I promise I will keep it that way ... : )

Had a great chat with a friend over MSN days ago, about "Shooting what we want and shooting what the clients want".

Sometimes I get compliments on pictures, but at the same time the picture might not fit other's taste ... If can be very extreme such as .. " Wow !!! Great Job AhTak !!! I love the shoot !! " or " Hmm ... the picture not nice ler, just my 2cent " ....

But ofcoz all the comments means alot to me, coz from there I know what I should keep and what I should pay extra attention to. So guys, keep my comments area filled up ~~~ !!!

Really enjoyed the show both shooting and the songs. I even almost forgot to take picture while she is singing '一樣的月光‘!

Still remember the first Wedding I ever documented after I have my D70 is my Friend's Sister's Wedding. Not too long after I got the SLR and Flash. Then my friend ask me if it's ok to be the Photographer for his sister's Wedding, ofcoz no problem lah ! Since I can be there and help out, also can practice a little bit of Wedding Photography. I have asked my friend to get some Pro to document the stuff, coz I dun want to ruin the Wedding by having lousy pictures for the couple's Memory, but ... :" Aiyah, you take good enuff lah, Photographer very Expensive lah ~~~" Well, what can I say ?

Anyway ...

I thought it was easy, but I swear, it's not as easy as you and I have thought. Just bring camera and shoot shot here and there ? No ..... Hell no ... Carrying all the Gears running around for nice angles, got to push all the other friends or relatives that also want to document the wedding with Point and Shoot Camera, got to think very hard about lighting, to flash or not to flash, got to always be around the couples to capture those face expressions, laughters, sweet smiles, and capture all the attendees as well. Oh Yah, not forgetting to gather and arrange everyone for that 'oh-so-boring' group picture. It's Not Easy ...

But I was enjoying the whole thing ~

Why don't ask your friends or relatives that have a SLR to Photograph? Why pay for Pro ? Let me tell you why...

Your Friend or Relatives also want to enjoy the Wedding Ceremony, if he is carrying his camera around, he/she won't be enjoying it AT ALL. As like me, I dun even have time to smoke during Morning session, and no chance to eat during Wedding dinner, let alone ' Enjoy ' the Wedding. You dun want your friend half way eating then you go and ask him stop, and go take picture for you and other friends, or half way eating then need to stop and prepare/wait for your March-In right? I guess you yourself won't be happy if someone else do that to you right ? Give RM200 to attend a Wedding, then have no time to eat the food and drink, also have to run Up and Down Here and There to take picture for everyone. He/She won't say no if you ask for favor, but have you thought about what Friend is all about ? Making use of his Passion and Talent ?

Picture Quality is another thing. I don't think Friend/Relatives will bring Full Gear to attend your wedding, or maybe his full gear cost lest than 1 piece of Pro lens that a Fulltime Photographer have. I saw some newbies even bring Entry Level Camera and Budget Lens for paid job, WTF ? Let me show you the difference...

Fulltime Photographer:
D300 or D700 or D3, staring from RM5500 .
Nikkor 17-55 or Nikkor 24-70 , around RM5500.
Nikkor 80-200 or 70-200, starting RM3500.
SB800 or SB900, starting from RM1500.

Cheapest Setup for Fulltime Photographer: RM12,500 worth of gear.

Newbies/Beginner/Friend/Relative:
D40/D80/D90 , starting from RM1899.
Kit Lens that comes with the camere. FOC.
Might not even have external Flash ...

So you might have a Photographer with RM1899 worth of gear.

I let you do the compare. RM12,500 VS RM1899 .

Some might say :" Camera Not Important mah, Skill more important ~ "
I must agree with the above statement. But how to shoot in Low Light condition ( indoor/dinner ) if the ISO control no good ? How to bounce Flash for softlight so Face Oil dun come out ? How to create shallow DOF for Creative/Mood Shoot ? WB not correct and everyone come out either Strawberry/Orange/Banana color on the face ? Ofcoz skills are more important than Gears. But you think Pro spend so much on Pro Gears coz they are loaded or Crazy ? It's for the Quality. It's like Driving Kancil and Driving BMW, you tell me skill more important lah ~

Anyone also can be photographer, just bring RM1899 to a camera store and RM50 to print name cards, done ~

Well ... Time for some wishlist/To-Buy list ...

1. WD MyBook Essential.
Only complain I have for the new camera I just got is the filesize of the RAW files. Used to be merely 5MB per files for now 14MB per RAW. Simple calculation.

D70s :
5MB x 2500 = 12,500 = 12.5GB

D300 :
14MB X 2500 = 35,000 = 35GB

*roughly 2500 pictures per wedding, can be more sometimes*

I only shoot RAW for all the wedding jobs. Why ? Coz RAW have more flexibility on post- processing, which can be done in batch like, WB tuning, color toning, noise reduction. Mistakes are not avoidable and that's why I shoot in RAW, just in case any mistake done. All the RAW files will be organized in Folders and saved in HDD or DVD depends on how long the Wedding have pasted. 6 months will still be in HDD, coz I might need the files for website. After that will be in DVD, just in case I have clumsy client that might misplace the DVD or CD with ALL their sweet memories inside.

2. Lacie d2 DVD±RW with LightScribe.

After 6 months or so, the RAW files will be transfered to DVD. Organized by Folder and Names. But using my MBP's DVD burner is not a good choice, as if I spoiled the DVD ROM, that will RM899 just to replace the ROM, and it's alot slower than External Burner anyway. That's where Lacie join the Team. 20X Double Layer bla bla bla .... I just want to use it to burn DVD, with a bit faster speed than my MBP, and it definitely looks better than Low Yat self assemble type.

3. Nikkor AF-S VR 70-200mm f/2.8G IF-ED .

Tada ~~~ Mid range zoom lens that will be replacing the Tamron 70-300 that I've been using for years, and why ? Becoz the range is just nice for some candid shoots during wedding, walking around and snap from far. I always want to do that with Tamrom 70-300, but by the time it get in Focus, the 'target' dunno go where already, trust me, the focusing is THAT slow. also the constant f2.8 and VR will help alot while I am indoor or low light condition, or sometimes when Flash is not an option. Another Plus will be, Razor Sharp thru out the zoom range from 70mm ~ 200mm, should be nice for some Portraits as well.

4. Nikon D700.
This is the Mid Range Pro FX SLR that Nikon have just announced not too long ago. You may ask " Why ? Your D300 not good enuff ? ". But seriously guys, Kancil also good enuff for getting your from Point A to Point B, why want want a BWM ??

My reason/excuse for a D700 will be FX Bokeh, ISO performance, more accurate WB and it looks more PRO.

5. Nikkor AF 85mm f/1.4D IF .
This is the Oh-So-Famous portrait lens for Nikon users. Why ? Coz it's Razor Sharp and the bokeh for f1.4 @ 85mm is no joke, once you tired, I'm sure you'll dream about it everynight. Getting this only when I have the D700 coz 85mm is too long to use with D300, where it's 85 x 1.5 ( DX crop factor ) = 127mm, just too damm long for my shooting style. Well, got to wait abit then ~

List is too long and soooooo expensive ... I even scared myself by looking at it. It would be nice if your guys can help abit on my Buying list, not by giving me cash ofcoz, just recommend me to your friends that are getting Married soon and that's a really big help to me. You know where to find me if you have jobs for me right ? kekekek.

Why so ugly and so stupid one ????

Apple have just announced some new ' Look ' on the Laptop line up ... 2 words: Ugly, Stupid .

1.Glossy Display, that sucks for Photographer.
How to editing picture with a reflection on the screen, and constantly changing of contrast when you move the laptop or move yourself ... Glossy Display, sucks big time ...

2. Share Display Memory on MacBook Pro.
They say there's 2 GPU on the new display, so what ? If were to run Photoshop or Final Cut Pro at full speed, where to get RAM to Share ? Ofcoz there's an option if you are willing to pay more for a Dedicated Display Card on the Top End Macbook Pro. I think that also means Dedicated Display Card are still the best choice for performance too.

3. I thought it was a Sony !?
Don't you just have the same thought like me ? Why the design so Sony one ? What happened to the Minimalist ? What is that Black Frame ? What is that Black Keyboard ? Steve, you think it's funny ?

4. No more FW400.
So, what am I doing to do with all those FW400 HDD lying around on my table ? Use USB Port on the casing ? You must be kidding me .....

But good thing also the Macbook Pro are so ugly, so I won't have the thought of getting a New Designed Macbook Pro that's not very much faster than the one I am using now, which also looks ALOT MORE UGLY than the older models. I can spend more time looking at lens and camera, ofcoz Wedding Ring.

First I got to congrats myself, for a Brand New D300 in my camera bag ... YAY !!!!!

So got new cam ofcoz need to test drive abit ...

Really amazed to the High ISO performance of the D300, ofcoz you can get even better results with a D700 or D3, but considering the Price of that 2 Cameras, I'm not worthy, at least I have 3~4 jobs per month, then I may consider. Now have to really work harder with my new partner for better pictures, and ofcoz to get more jobs.

And for the Mah Latt Lous ...

Any new camera also must test drive with leng lui pictures .... kekekeke

Haven't been updating since ... dunno when already, how's days ? Mine been really busy shooting around.

Shooting for Onsen Japanese Restaurant in Kota Damansara,

and eat up all the food after shooting ... kekekeke.

Raymond & Irene's ROM ( Register on Marriage ), Crown Plaza KL ...

My SB600 decided to die on me. Have sound indicating charge and firing, but no light come out. Sent in for warranty and the shop told me dunno how long it would take. And from my previous experience , at least 2~3 weeks which I can't afford to wait coz I have a wedding job coming this weekend. No choice other than getting a new flash, but since I dun want to have the same old SB600 than can be spoiled so easily, and abit of cash in hand. I got a SB900. The latest most advanced Flash unit on earth !!! Wah kakakakaka. And after my SB600 come back from warranty I will have 2 Flashes to play with, Yay !!!

Well. Got new toys also means I need more jobs to cover up the hole in my wallet loh. Got another last minute job...

For a Beauty Center and a Food Court that belongs to the same owner of the Onsen Japanese Restaurant. Neat ~ Just in time to fill up the big hole in my wallet...

Flat on Me

Have a flat tire this morning and my jack is dunno where I put, and abit lazy to change tire ...

Called my workshop that's 5 mins drive away from my place and make sure they are open, drive to the workshop at about 50km/h. Eh, why dun go Petrol Station and pump air first ? Dun bother lah ... Coz if I go pump the Air sin, the tired will become flat again while I am stuck in the jam, ngam mou ? So dun bother, just go fast fast fix the tire first.

I didn't know it was that easy to fix a flat tire. I took the guys less than 10mins to fix the thing, dun even have enough time for the have a coffee...

1. Take out the flat tire.
2. Examine where is the 'hole' and marked it.
3. Take out the nails/what ever caused the hole.
4. Make a BIGGER hole, by using some dunno what tool.
5. Inject some rubber stick with some dunno what tool.
6. Pump the tire and examine the hole if it's still loosing air.
7. Done.

Total cost. RM5 ...

It would either be Olympic 2008 organizer is totally out of budget or, the Computer Operators are totally Idiot or, Windows is really that bad. I tried to Google " Olympic 2008 Official Computer" and " Computer used in Olympic 2008 ", no clue. Well I must say no Manufacturers will be stupid enough to stand up and tell the world that their computers are not reliable right ?

Some say Mac are expensive, not user friendly ( coz they have been using Windows for the pass 10 years, ofcoz ), not hardware friendly, lack of software selections ... bla bla bla ... But at least Mac didn't become a joke of Olympic 2008.

Anyway. It's been a while I merely update my blog, so might as well lah.

A friend asked me some Questions on Mac as he just got his Mac and have been using it for about a week, newbie . He asked:

Q1. Why Safari can't do a Full Screen ?
A1: Can ofcoz. You can do it Manually. By dragging the small little triangle found on the bottom right of every Application Window found in a Mac. But, why ? You do that because you can ? You are used to it ? or ... just feel like doing it ?

Below are 2 pictures displaying the same website, with different Window Size. Image01 is the Website's Minimum Width, the Image 02 is Full Screen.

You can see that even if the Browser is in Full Screen, but the content is still the same size, you dun see more contents from the site and that also means that you are wasting your screen resolution. Noticed the 2 white areas beside the page content in Image02? that's wasting. This apply to some other application like Words, Exel, PowerPoint, or maybe MSN Messenger ...

There's not Right or Wrong ofcoz, you paid for your stuff and you can use them however you like.

I myself like the keep the Application Window showing the minimum size ( until the srcollbars merely go away ), and have lot's of software running together, why ? So I don't have to Launch - Shutdown software all day long, I am even too lazy to shutdown my Laptop, why waste time ? Close the lid and I am ready to go, reach the client's place, open up the lid and I am ready to present. Shut Down ? Turn On the Computer ? ehh..... what's that ? kakakakakak.

11:55pm: The whole computer was disconnected from the internet.
11:56pm: Carry out troubleshoot that those idiots will tell you to do, doesn't matter if it's first time calling or 50th times calling
11:57pm: Still no luck after reset the modem and also restarting it ...
12:20PM: Finally connected to the internet but AdiumX still fail, as usual.
12:21pm: Connect to MSN via eBuddy.com and found out most of the people were gone sleeping ..

Nikon Japan just launched the new Full Frame ( FX ) D700 and a new flash unit SB-900.

Selling price are USD3000 for D700 (body ony) and TBA for the SB-900 .So expensive ???? Yes. I think this can at least keep away those wannabe who go in a camera shop, buy a camera and print some name cards then call themselves pro. With so many doggies around some cute and nice, some HUGE. I'm having hard time to decide which to take, so at the end, didnt take any !!! hahahaahah.

FireFox 3 . Fast Fast go Download !

Saw FireFox have released their latest version FireFox3, so fast fast download lah ~ Coz I always wanted to use browsers other than Safari, which so far I haven't seen anything better yet.

Did a quick look at surfed a few Blogs and sites. So far so good, the speed are as fast as FireFox claimed. The rendering and Image Loading/Display are split second faster than Safari, but please bare in mind that I have FiberOptic connection in the office. So if you guys out there are using Streamyx/Maxis Broadband, I don't think you'll notice anything different. Coz the slowness on surfing the net are mostly caused by slow internet connection from our local internet service provider, so no matter what browser you use and you'll still get slow browsing.

Anyway ...

After a quick test with the FireFox, I found out that :

1. I cant use the 3 Finger-Scroll for page navigation.
2. I cant use Ctrl+Arrow to jump between Tabs.
3. I cant use drag and drop on file uploading
4. The interface are still not my liking.
5. It's still very the Windows

I will stick to Safari ...

Lately I'm having problem sorting and editing large amount of pictures ( we are talking about 1000+++ pictures ... ) on my 15" Screen MBP, resolution at 1440 x 900. I've found that I am continuously squinting my eyes alot more than normal ... So I think it's time to get a bigger screen with Higher resolution to relieve my eyes abit

First choice ofcoz is the Apple Cinena Display lah ...

Priced at RM2499 for a 20" With 1680x1050. I will buy 2 if I am charging RM5k for a Wedding Job. But too bad, I am not. Well got to look for other alternatives, that fits my need and budget. Before this I have a very bad experience in The Curve and Cineleisure ( more story here ... ), then ofcoz I've not that stupid to go back there again lah. I head to Digital Mall this time, smart, I thought ...

Due to lack of budget, I need to get a LCD by using 0% Installment Plan that you can see everywhere ~ That's what I thought and you'll found out why later in the story...

So I was in the Top Floor looking for a ViewSonic vx1962wm, 1 of the few that have 1680x1050 on a 19". But bad news is that the shop can only offer me the 0% Installment Plan if my purchase is more than RM1000, and on top of that, they will charge me 5% on top of the final price before they put into the installment plan. Abit confused ? Nvm, I explain to you ...

Say you but a LCD at RM1000 and want to have a 0% installment Plan, that will be:

RM1000 + 5% = RM1050 , then RM1050 ÷ 12 months

Why is that ? I dunno. But since the bank so nice offer me to pay back the amount within 12 months time. Ok loh. I look for a higher end LCD that cost more than RM1k loh. You might say, " Why dun get the LCD with something else that will cost total Rm1K ?", coz I can't think of what else I wanted ... So ... 24" LCD ~ Which I can use utilize it for watching Movies also, not bad lah ~ But you know what ? The shop so big there, only have some Samsung 24" LCD, the rest are all 22" !!! WTF ?!?!? And all the 22" are less than RM1K !!! KNS ... waste my time ! So walk out of the shop pissed off, try to see if any other shop have any ViewSonic or LG or BenQ 24" .... And Surprisingly the WHOLE DIGITAL MALL dun sell ViewSonic or LG 24" ! Great !!! Digital Mall, my foot !

Just before I decided to walk out of that lousy place to LowYat, there's small shop at the corner that have a BenQ 24" on display , so bet my luck before I leave. But guess what.. " Sorry sir, everything here can be 0% Installment planned , but not LCD "

I should have go there earlier lah ~ So happily look around with my GF and try to search for some 24" LCD, they do have alot on display and available stock ready for cash and carry, CASH AND CARRY ~ Yeah ~~~ No installment plan available for those who are selling LCD, and those not selling LCD all have 0% Installment Plan sticker big big at the door ~

Pissed enuff ? Not yet ... If you dun want to be entertain by some stupid salesman and want to have all information about the product you are interested, where you go ?

Smart ~~~ Why bother going all the way to for maximum Jam and super overpriced car park right ?? Dell lah ~ Just a few click on your computer screen and you will get your order delivered to you door step ! That's the way of shopping lah ~ kekeke. So i order the lower end DellTM E248WFP 24" .

5 mins after I clicked the confirm button, I got a email from Dell , saying my order accepted, will get another email to inform me ones the order is confirmed. Huh ??? Order accepted but not confirm, got to wait for confirmed ? hhmm .... But somehow they stated on the email saying " Delivery is estimated to take place between 5-7* working days (Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore) and 8-12* working days (East Malaysia) " ... wait loh ... what to do ?

anyway...

Then the Next Day got the next mail from Dell saying my order has been accepted ( .. -_-''' ), but got wait for another 2~3 working days for the bank to settle the 0% Installment Plan, but I thought that's just 2~3 mins thing if done in the shop ? ... nvm lah ... I wait ... So thats 2~3 working days + 5~7 days = 7 ~10 days till I get the LCD, Now, mark the date, it's 12 June 2008.

And today, 17 June 2008. I got another email from Dell saying the payment have been settled, and will get another email for esimated arrival date of the LCD to my door step. Nice ...

But out out curiosity, I go and check my order status from Dell's website, and ...

Found out that the LCD will arrive on my door step on 23 June 2008. Which is Next monday... And according to the Order Status: " Kindly Note that the Estimated Delivery Date is subject to chance without notice ". In another words, " You will get your LCD if you see it on your doorstep on the estimated arrival date, if you don't see it, means it's not there yet, you can complain to us but you still won't get your LCD is you dun see it on your door step on the estimated arrival date. "

So I am telling myself. Work hard, get more jobs, and no more 0% Installment Plan anymore ....

What's better than getting a call from Singapore and heard that over the phone ?

Was in SG documenting a MSN/Blog friend's wedding, Sandy and Chris Wedding. Lovely couples there are I am well treated by them and all their friends and family. Everyone reminds me to go shopping in Orchard Road after then knew that it's my first time in SG ... -_-''' . How I wish I get the payment in SGD after hearing that ... hahahahaha.

Documenting their Actual day was so much the fun as this couple I tell you, Cute and Funny to the Max ! their friends also ... Funny to the max. And guess who I met during the Wedding ? CarCar ! Which is kind of expected also lah, coz CarCar introduce Sandy to me, then interested in my pictures, then booked me to be the Wedding Photographer ~

It's not just that payment after a Wedding Job that make me happy. Every touching moments, every kisses made, every tears of happiness from their parents, all the new friends I met, all the care ( " Tak, remember to eat yah !" ) is more that money can buy...

Cineleisure ground floor, IT HYPERSTORE. I was looking at the few Viewsonic and Samsung LCD that they are displaying on the shelf. Looking and looking, I've been standing there with cash in my pocket wanted to Buy and Run, but after 15mins no one even bother come forward for a " Hi, can I help ?" Then I saw a bunch of staffs gathering around chit chit by the counter, so I also paiseh paiseh go and asked for some information for the LCD that I wanted to buy.

Me: Hi, you have flyer/brochures for the ViewSonic ?
Staff: Sorry, we don't have any.
Me: Then do you know anything about the ViewSonic 19" LCD ?
Staff: eh .... I not so sure ...
Me: Then is anyone here know anything about that LCD ?
Staff:Eh, wait ah, I go look for supervisor.

Then the staff walk to the other end of the store and bring along a chinese guy, one that look like any technician you can get in LowYat, T-Shirt+Jeans+Bunch of dunno what hanging on the neck. Let's call him LYG.

LYG: Yes ?
Me: What's the Highest resolution that LCD can go ?
LYG: 1280. ( Can feel he is damm sure about that ).
Me: huh ? 1280 ? My 17" Samsung in the office also higher wow.
LYG: It's 1280, but that depends on the Display card also, if your display card good then can higher.
Me: ... I know that ofcoz, that's why I ask what is the " Highest" resolution.
LYG: That depends on the Graphic Card.
Me: (Feel abit pissed off liao .. ) What if I attach to a Macbook Pro ?
LYG: (Looks confused) Eh ... I think laptop mostly 1280 also.
Me: My Mabook Pro can go as high as 2560 by 1600 if the LCD can support.
LYG: Oh really ????!!!! Soory ah, I go check the spec for you .

So the guy confirmed the highest resolution for the ViewSonic VX1940W is 1680 x 1050, which is the Highest among the 19" LCD available on the market. So after some DVI/VGA explaining to the " Technician " when I wanted to test the screen and viewing a few of my pictures on the LCD. Good, I want to take it ! But then ...

LYG: Sorry ah, this unit ( Display unit ) is the last one we have.
Me: Hah !!?!?!?! Then how ???!!! Issit any cheaper if I take this unit ( the display unit )
LYG: No. Same Price ....
Me: Ok then, thanks for you help...

Then I walk out the place damm pissed coz they wasted so much of my time because they don't even know what they are selling and totally no idea of what they are talking !!! Damm ... What is this ??? Computer Hi Tech Store but you go and hire some moron who don't even know what is Computer ??? WTF ... If you want to save cost on the Knowledgeable Staff then I may understand, but at least put some flyers beside the Products so the customer can look for all the information they want from the flyer rather than waiting like so hai for those stupid staffs for seach for information right ????

Wow. Finally done with the final layout of my "Website", at least I think it looks more properly done.

But somehow dunno for what kind of stupid reason, my site still looks bad in Windows... Hmm ... Really wonder if Windows can just display anything right. Anyway, have tested viewing my site in Windows with Safari and Firefox, both display my site 'ok' in a way. So if you are using Windows, please go download Safari or Firefox that can display things 'properly'. Also ah, if you are kind enuff, please let me know if you are having problems in my "Website".

Had a basketball session with some friends in Old Klang Road last night, that's more than 6 months ago from the previous one.

Get ready at home around 730pm after my friend called and remind me about the game, then I cant find a Basketball Pants ! Damm ! So ended up wearing a short pant that got a hole right at the 'Balls' area, just lucky the hole didnt get any bigger and no one noticed about the hole.

Great game it was as most the fellas there are not bad, god in fact compare to my droped down skill level and the extra 35KGs that I've gain lately, really can run as fast or jump as high compare to my high school time, where I am in School team, Point Guard I was playing.

First Game ( Game ends when either team scored 7 balls ) was good till the 5th Scored, I almost can feel my lungs and my throat are burning, feet are not listening to me and keep running at their own will, or rather ' Dont want to move' at their own will. I want my Stamina back ! I want to score and block, but dammit, my body is not listening to me. Take a deep breath and try to slow down abit, ask the team mates to pass me the ball and let me have control over the game ( used to be very good of that ). Slowed down the game, more passes around the field, confuse the opponents by asking the team mates to do more crossing under the basket. While I go around the court with the ball trying to look for empty slot for the the teammates to go in and score. Seems like it's working well coz we are leading the game with 3 balls scored ahead, and 1 more ball to finish the game ... Won the game by passing the ball to a un-guarded mate at the 3 point line...

The following games seems to be better as for some reason I can feel my lungs and the body is listening to me again. Score a few balls and the times is almost up for the court. 2 Balls from winning the last game ( 3 straight wins before this ), I tripped, badly landing with my upper butt on the floor. My whole got numb, I cant even move a finger. All the others were shocked and want to help trying to turn me around so I can have sit an rest on the floor, which they fail to do so as my back was so painful I cant even turn around and sit ... Kneeling on the floor a a minute or 2, and the numb was gone, I want to continue the game, and ofcoz end the game by winning the game. It's been my attitude since I start basketball when I was 12, I dont want to lose.

Game continue. The opponents dont want to guard me, guessed they were scared they will hurt me or I am not in the condition to score, which is so wrong. I went into the mid court where it was empty, and a guy came over trying to steal my ball, then I make the right turnover and passed thay guy leaving him at my right-back, but just when I wanted to make a jump shoot, another guy jumped and wanted to block me. No one to pass the ball and surrounded by opponents, shit ! Think quick and make a fade-away jump shoot. Swoooopp ! The ball flawlessly entered the rim and we lead the game by 1 score, 1 more score to win the game. The last turn over I was seriously exhausted, I can't make the run with other teammates. Watching fro far, a teammate hit the run and passed to guys that are trying to block, turn around with a layout, done ~ Game won by 1 scare and that's the 4th straight games we won ~

I used to thought " How should I win the game...How should I score...What moves they can make others stunned " Now I dun care lah, as long as I can get soak in sweat and hopefully lose a few KGs after every game will do. Feels so good to get sweat but don't feel great that I can't run as fast ....

Next Game, Next Week ...

PS: This morning woke up with backache, a slight twisted ankle, aching knee and abit bit or muscle pain at the shoulder. Sign of getting old ...

Why a used camera you may ask. Coz the D2Xs has tough built for field shooting, I think the tough body can kill a cow ~ It's that tough. Other than the built, is the Speed. 5FPS or 8FPS at 6MP. Also the Grip/Handling/Holding of the camera are the best I've tried so far ( other than the Ultimate D3 ... ). All the above make my D70s look more like a plastic toy .....

2. 80-200 f2.8 AF-S used, or if no choice the 70-200 f2.8 VR

Last last weekend been shooting for a friend's wedding loh, from KL -> Penang -> TaiPing . Actual day in KL ( Sunday ), then a Pre Wedding shoot and dinner in Penang ( Monday ) then a dinner Taiping . You can imagine how tired is that ? ...

Was so busy over the last weekend for some non-stop model shooting ... That I even fell asleep before 9PM on Sunday night. Luckily the results was good( that's for me ...), maybe it's the second time shooting with Kenix and hence can communicate easier ? Or it's just purely luck ? ... you tell me.

Also, I was thinking of having a "Standard Format" for this kind of entry, how should I format it ah ? What are you guys keen on? What do you guys want to know about the shoot ? Drop me a comment and let me consider abit.

For those who want to know about the camera setting ( Aperture/Shutter Speed/ISO ), no need to ask, even if I teach you also that won't improve your photography skill. And for those who wants the model's contact, forget it, I dun want to be killed by their boy friends. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Shoot during last weekend, sunday .... Thanks to Alicia and her Friend Chris for the shoot ~

Taken roughly about 300~350 pictures, but sadly not been able to sort out even 20 that I really like ... hhmm ... I prefer hitting the shutter on my camera rather than Delete on my keyboard, seriously need alot more practice.

Nvm lah, share away the picture also lah ~ hehehe. Remember to comment abit okay? Let me know what you think about the pictures.

01. Taken with 1 Flash from the models right. Lights on the wall at the back there are from the Tunnel's opening. Natural wind on model's hair.

02. See closely you can noticed there's weird color/light at the pictures top left, that's spilt light from the Flash-Umbrella. I prefer this over picture #1, for the smoother skin tone and also the model is not as stiff.

03. Experimental Shoot. Simulating Film Cross Processing and added abit of noise to emphasize abit more on the mood/feel of the picture. My fav picture of the shoot ...

04. Another experimental. Changing of color tone with slight changes of angle and expression.

Got myself a Maxis Broadband last saturday and FINALLY, can online at home already ( actually writing this entry on my bed ... ) ~

Now still testing the speed and connectivity and stability of the service. And after 2 days of testing, I found that ...

1. The connection are not so stable, might drop from the internet every 15~20 mins, which last for about 10~20 secs...
2. Super difficult to connect my MSN account, unless if i use eBuddy, lame but at least i can get MSN ...
3. No downloading files bigger than 5MB, I will just stop half way and ofcoz, no resume download ...
4. The Toll Free 1800 822 000 is not Toll Free, you got to pay for Toll Free, WTF ???
5. Most of the people answer calls are Indian, nothing particular, just to let you all know ..

12042008 Trip to Tawau

The main purpose of this trip ( 12/04/2008 ~ 15/04/2008 ) is to apply my first Malaysia International Passport, coz I need to be in Singapore in June, which is my first also my first time ' OverSea ' ( minus those when I was so young that I can't remember anything )....

Q: Hah ? Why want to go back Sabah and do ? Here ( Kuala Lumpur ) cannot meh ? Very fast one ~ 1 day can settle ~

A: Yes, can be done. But according to the officer, due to I am a Sabahan, so the duration may be from 1 ~ 3 months. When I try to confirm with the officer whether it will take 1 or 3 months, he can't confirm. OMG ... And my passport got to be ready by June, so I have no choice but to go back Tawau and do.

Q: So how ? Go back Sabah and do got any faster ?

A: Yes... I took a number at the counter by 9:00AM, get out of the office by 9:20AM. Return to the office by 1150AM and the passport is ready to be collect. This is efficiency. Not some ' Satu bulan hingga 3 bulan ' .....

Due to the budget constraints, AirAsia is the only choice for frequent traveler or poor traveler like me. RM377.98 for Return ticket, where to find ??? Dun complaint people charge that small little RM5 for checking in baggage, dun complaint people dun serve food or sell expensive food on board, dun complain the LCCT and lousy, you pay for what you get, ok ?

But there're still nightmares during flight (on my way back to KL ) ...

1. Aunties taking off their shoes and hang their legs all over the place. Regardless if the legs got smell or not, what would you fell if your see your mom/aunty/relatives/friends/boyFriend/girlFriend doing the same during your holiday trip to UK ?

2. Rubbing those minyak kapak in the plane. Honestly, for those can't take it ( me for example ), it's no different with me giving you a big fart on your face. Or giving out big smelly bulp after the AirAsia Snack Attact Nasi Lemak. You want that while you are sleeping ?

3. Air Stewardess that looks no different with auntie selling pan cakes in pasar malam. When I was young ( during High School ), taking an plane are always pleasant. REALLY GOOD LOOKING Air Stewardess always giving you big smile and even looking at them doing Demo on the safety gears are pleasant too ... Dunno what happened on the QC of those Air Stewardess, now I dun even bother looking at them when they greet you happily :" Hi, welcome to AirAsia ... " Or maybe those Billboards are cheating ? I remember those in the AirAsia ads are so nice looking ?

4. Rushing to the door when the plane JUST touched down. For those who take plane for the first time are forgiven. Have you noticed that everyone on-board will start taking off their seat belts lah, start stretching and exercise lah, reaching the head compartments for luggage lah, stand in the middle of the walkway lah, start talking loud loud over the phone lah ( " Wei !! Ah Meng ah ?! Yaloh, I just reach KL loh , HAHAHAHAHAHA, where you ?? " ..... Cant you just wait until the plane stop and the Crew's announcement ? Is THAT urgent to tell your friends/relatives and make sure they reached the air port and parked their car and wait you outside ? Got THAT URGENT meh ?.

5. THIS IS TOO MUCH. During my flight back to KL last night. That's about 10 mins before landing ( you can see the landing gears are out ), I heard cell phone ringing with funny ringtones. Then I when turn my head over and saw a malay girl answer the call and start giggling over the phone. OMG !!! I think the Air Stewardess have announced so many times that :" PLEASE SWITH OF YOUR CELLPHONE AT ALL TIME IN THE PLANE " again and again and again and again and again in CHINESE, MALAY, ENGLISH which I think you can't be malaysia if you don't understand one of the above language mentioned, right ??? You want to die, I dun mind, but dun pull me and other passengers along !

Lights : Photography

Will be going back Tawau tomorrow for some staff and come back on Tuesday. And by the mean time, there's about 2000 pictures waiting for me to select and edit and post ... haih ... maybe do it during my trip in Sabah lah. See you then.

Hotmail & Yahoo in you Mac Mail

Good Morning Class ~

Today I will teach you all how to setup you Maill app in you Mac to receive mails from web based Hotmail and Yahoo accounts. Please make use you are ready with the following stuffs before we continue the class.

1. A Mac machine, let it be Macbook Pro or MacBook or mini or iMac or Mac Pro .....
2. Internet connection, in order to connect to the internet ... duh !?
3. Coffee or Tea for that " Downloading mails ...."

Ok, I presume you have all the above, let's start the class already. I'll start with HotMail first, or maybe not, since I've covered that long time ago. If you've missed the class, you can re-do the assignment here, and here .

Now I continue with Yahoo mail.
First of all Close your Mail software if it's running, we don't need it yet. Then download the software call MacFreePOPs. It's still a Donationware where you can use the software for free still, just that it will have a pop up windows ask for donation everytime you start the software. So just go and download the software and install to your Mac.

Then launch MacFreePOPs:

1. Update the software with the latest Plug-In. Don't panic, you'll see a big big UPDATE button once the software launched.

2. Switch to freepopsd tab and check the boxes accordingly.

3. Remeber those words in RED, which is what to enter for you Userame/Passward, Incoming server, and Server Port.

Break for 5 mins, I go smoke first ....

Tik Tak ... Tik Tak ... Tik Tak ...

Back ! Let's continue with Mail Setup, open up your Mail App. Then add an account.

1. Enter your name, your Yahoo email address and password. And uncheck the "Automatically setup Account". And Click next ... Can I skip the " Click Next" ah ? Coz it quite obvious that you will have to " Click Next " after filling in the blanks right ? So no more " Click Next " from next step.

2. Put a name for this Account, you can put Yahoo lah, Yahoo Mail lah, Mail Yahoo lah, up to you. And the Incoming Server ah, make sure it's : 127.0.0.1 , don't ask me why, just do as I say. Then username is your FULL email address, and you password.

3. For the OutGoing, don't bother, coz you can only RECEIVE mails, not sending. So just put what ever you want here.

4. Then go to your Mail and open up Preferences -> Accont and check again everything is entered correctly.

5. Click on the Advanced tab and change the port to 2000

Voila ~~~

End note: Try to do this ( downloading the mails ) with fast internet connection, as there might be alot of mails to download ( I am downloading 4000++ pieces of mail. If you are using dial up, forget it; if you are doing this at Starbucks, forget it also.

My gf have complained to me about my blog looks weird in her office computer. And I've finally see how Weird it is after installing a XP system and have a look of my blog with different Browsers. So please either use FireFox or Safari if you want to see Websites correctly, nicely and fast. And below are the snapshots of the different browsers with my blog.

Good news and bad news !!!

Good news is that the MBP 2.4Ghz that i purchased last weekend are finally replaced with the latest MBP 2.5Ghz.

And the bad news is, the external HardDrive that I have TimeMachine in suddenly corrupted, just right before I want to use TimeMachine the restore all the date to the new MBP. So please wish me luck, am now trying to recover the data from the HardDrive. I can only spend some time here coz I HAVE TO wait for the data retrieving from the HardDrive.

Well, first thing first. I am so happy that AppleCare Asia have replaced my faulty MBP 2.4GHz with the latest 2.5Ghz ~ Yeah ~ And there's a long story behind the warranty/replacement precess, which I think I will come back with it some other time, the point here is, I GOT THE LATEST MBP !!!! WAHAHAH !!!!!!

So I have been upgrading from Powerbook G4 1.5GHz to MBP IntelCore2Duo 2.4Ghz which is now replaced by the latest MBP IntelCore2Duo 2.5Ghz . And that's 8 Generation in between !!! Can you imagine ? I try to cut out the technical things and try to make it simple lah, from my Powerbook to Macbook Pro, I have the following upgrades:

1. Faster Processor ( ALOT faster I must say ), which also allows me to run Windows on my MBP ( as if I will .. haha ).
2. Faster RAM, for faster software loading.
3. Bigger and faster HardDrive. Not really alot lah, just double of what I have in my PowerBook, that's 250GB now.
4. Bright LCD that's brighten with LED.
5. An iSight webcam, which I never use.
6. An Apple Remote, so I can lay on the bed and use that to control iTunes. Duh ...
7. Better Battery life, which is now 4.5Hours with WiFi and Safari, is use Aperture + Photoshop will drop to 2 hours.
8. A Multi Touch Track Pad for faster and more user friendly navigation.

there's more ... but I malas lah. Later I do another entry after I fully test drive the MBP ok ?~ hehehe. Now need to get back to work.

S T Y L O : KL Fashion Week. Take 1.

So lucky can get the pass for the show, infact it's the first time I join a 'By Invitation only' fashion show ... And thanks Vodka for the ' Gear Testing cum Poisoning '. A D2Xs and Nikkor 28-70 f28, a really superb combination.

All of the pictures are with minimal Post Processings ( Photoshop ), cause I want to see how good is the picture right out of the camera, and the picture quality if the camera is THAT good which makes me feel like throwing mine to the sea now ... :(

01. No Post Processing at all. Right out of the camera with AWB, which I will never do it with my D70s.

02. Used Aperture to removed the ' Too much Green ' light on the model's face. Picture still can see the green, and it's 100 times worse in actual lighting.

03. Curved to recover the Hi-light on the model's face. But still cannot save the Motion blur due to my lousy Tammy 70-300 with small aperture and slow focusing ...

04. Also removed the ' Too Much of Green' light on Zucca's face. Almost Out of the camera. ( Zucca hou leng ah ~~~ )

05. Point and Shoot with A mode at f5, langsung no PP.

Now got to save money for a new body liao. Sorry D70s, I dun love you anymore. HAHAHAHAHAH !!!

For a long long long time

HAHAHAHAHA... 30mins earlier than me and 1 hour earlier than others .... Well, here are the pictures ...

First time using a Studio Strobe without knowing how to set and use, using other's Camera+Lens with knowing how to utilize, but luckily the pictures come out as how i wanted. What you guys think ?

New toy, so fast it looks like flying !

The very last item on my 2008 wishlist, but got it as the first Toy in 2008.
Now I need another 2GB RAM, a Wireless Apple Mouse, a FireWire CF Card reader .... bla bla blo blo ....

Got it last Saturday the EpicStore or something i forgot the name in Pavillion, will dating with my gf and waiting for another friend of mine to meet up for a dinner double date. While walking walking in the Mac Shop, I ask if there's still stock for the Macbook Pro 2.4Ghz, the say yes, so I buy lah on the spot.

Then when the billing are done, the sales guy bring me and the new toy to their Service Counter, to open up the new toy and check if it's ok, in perfect condition.

When the so-call technical guy open up the new toy, it's LCD starts to flicker, which is something that's not suppose to happen on a new machine ...

AhTak: Dude, I think i want another unit other than this one..
SalesGuy: Sorry ah, must let our TECHNICAL check sin, if he say is faulty then only I can give you another unit.
AhTak: OOhh... ( I didnt say anything, coz my experiance as, I will get a new one )

Then the so-call technical guy starts to flip around the new toy, opening the RAM slot and move around the RAM, reseting the PRAM and still the machine dun want to start up nice. Ofcoz lah, it's the LCD or MotherBoard problem, you expect to fix that instant ? Even if he can fix it, you think any so hai want to pay for something that's got problem out of the box ? Luckily the guy did gave me another unit that's working perfectly out of the box.

So, if you want better service, at least not the mac store in Pavillion. Try IT PLanet in Ikano or Mac Studio LowYat.

Was in the event lastd weekend with my GF and friends, that includes dog's owner, photographers, bloggers, dog's owner's boy friends ... etc etc. Great day. I was there also last year if you still can remember. SO this year I got smart, reached there early early to avoid the crowd and traffic jam and hot sun, but you know what, there are already so many dogs and their owners, I wonder what time they reached, 7am ??? After the morning Jog ??? ....

Almost scared the shit out of her when I drag her up there. HAHAHAHAH. Everyone was laughing at her ~ Poor Nepok, give you treast tonight lah ~ heheheh.

After that I go Hartamas to meet up with my friends, photographers, dog owners, new friends, friend's wife at Hartamas. A restourant selling Taiwaness Cuisine that allows Dogs, Sweet ~~~

There are a few updates/announcement made during the 3 days MacWorld 2008. Too bad I no budget or people to sponsor me, else I will be able to bring back nice nice pictures ... anyway...

1. MacBook Air:

Please scream if you think your Vaio or Fujitsu are thin, this is even thinner lighter ....

1. At less than 2CM, merely the thickness of your Laptop's LCD ?
2. At 1.36KG only. Half the weight of my PowerBook.. damm ...
3. LED backlit LCD Display for thinner LCD and better Batt Life.
4. Backlit Keyboard, just like what my PowerBook have, or maybe looks nice.
5. 5 Hours battery life with WiFi on, heard that Bloggers ?

But too bad there are a few ( to me is alot ) things missing from this piece which are the:
1. Optical Drive ( can get optional external ),
2. No RJ45 ( LAN network connection, can use external )
3. Only 1 USB, plan well you want to use it for External Optical Drive or Card Reader.
4. Maybe too thin and will break when Nepok steps on it ...

Was in Penang during last weekend to company a friend to do some stuffs in ALor Star and proceed to Penang for some food and photography. What I can say is, TIME NOT ENUFF !!! Wish I can stay there for at least another 2~3 days ler. For both the food and photography.

Picture taken 730AM, before we stop at Tapah for a quick breakfast before continue driving to Alor Star. Some really lousy Nasi Lemak and Lousy Kopi panas. Should have go McD for breakfast....

Saw this cool dude right before we entry Penang Bridge. Seems like he really enjoys his ride and the scenery along the way. I also wanted to enjoy the view but too tired lah. I think I've been sleeping all the way from KL to Alor Star to Penang. After a TT till 430AM with the Photokaki dudes on Friday night... -_-'''

Yeah ~ The Penang Bridge @ 5:17PM !!! But nothing much lah. Maybe is the time we reach there not ngam lah. The Bridge doesn't seems very good looking to me. Maybe next time I will try to shoot it at night with all the lights on or in the morning, matching it with a clear blue sky.

These are when we have a drink beside Gurney Walk/Beack, forgot the name lah. Setting sun and fisherman netting. So the kampung feel and I like ~

Ngek Ngek, Makan Time !!! My friend brought me to a place ( forgot the name ) where are are lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of food stalls, all looks very good and I wanted to order all of them but too bad my stomach can't fit lah, else ah...

Woke up late but luckily the wether is good ! Both for having a walk around town and photography also. Saw the clear blue sky ? Siok ! Pack all the gears and Penang here I come !!!

Initially we want to get on top on Penang Hill and get some pictures, but too bad we got to wait for an hour for the next train, as we dun want to waste time waiting, we continue the trip to somewhere else. After taking a few pictures of the train ofcoz ...

The Penang Island view from Kek Lok Si Car park area. Fascinating isn't it ? If i have time ah, i think i can just stand there for hours, look at the scenery with a few Marlboro. Was a great place for photography as there are so many colors, lines, patterns, historical artifacts...... I did enjoyed myself and do want to go back for more.

Ended the trip with a really nice Mee Goreng Mamak somewhere Bangkok Street ? cant really recall the name lah... Delicious Mee Goreng and fun looking at the Neh showing his Wok-swinging skills ~ Cool !
